Cut out the pattern and punch the holes.
If you do not have a long reach 1/4 inch hole punch you will have to carefully punch the center hole. Remove the pattern, if
you plan to emboss on your pinwheel wipe the cardstock well with a used dryer sheet to remove any unseen glue from the pattern.
Paint a wood dowel and wrap with some ribbon. Stamp and emboss the pinwheel section as desired, keeping in mind the points with
the holes will fold toward the center. Place an eyelet in the center hole then bring each corner with a hole to the center and
onto the eyelet also. Once the eyelet is through the center and all four corners, set the eyelet. Be careful not to crease the
bent edge of your pinwheel. Slip an upholstery tack though the eyelet in the center of the pinwheel an then another eyelet on the
tack with the flared side toward the pinwheel€. This will act as a stand off so the pinwheel will turn smoothly. Tap the whole thing gently into the dowel, making sure not to
drive the tack to tightly against the dowel. Just enough to be secure.
